My Escapade in Genting

I went to Genting Highlands last weekend [17&18Nov] with my boo and as my previous trips there, Genting never failed to enchant me. It was superb, fun and entertaining! A complete dose of forgetting all the problems I have back 6000 feet below. We stayed in First World Hotel [room 17789] and the view faced the theme park. It was magnificent! On our first day there, we went for a stroll down the First World Plaza, dined in Kenny Roger's and shop a little before resting our [tired] bum for a cuppa in Starbucks while accessing the net until good 1 in the morning. Then, we called it a night. The next day, we headed to the theme park and tried all the possible rides which we could get our hands on. This was done after fulfilling our tummy's need for a full breakfast :). The first ride that we tried was The Flying Dragon and the next stop was Corkscrew. Both were rollercoasters and Corkscrew was far more dreadfully frightening due to its massive height. But it was so much fun! I

Freaking Funny..LOL!

You guys certainly have to catch this. Its hilarious! Its silly! Its the comedy of the time! I watched it in Mid Valley the other day with my boo and it totally blew me off! The story line is simple - a world renowned pingpong player in '88 tried to make a comeback in helping the FBI investigating a triad under a man simply called Feng, who is a big fan of pingpong and organizes annual international pingpong tournament, and at the same time tries to take revenge on Feng who killed his father. As simple as it may sound, the story itself develops gradually and at a correct pace - with lots of humors worth of loud laughs. Enjoy it at your own risk!

Listen To This!

Amy Jade Winehouse has always been a favourite of mine and this song is currently my personal favourite and occupies every player that I have! The video is about a heart-broken woman, going to the funeral of her own 'heart'. [Get it? Dumped, heart-broken, burying the heart, no more love?] Anyway, its a great song and a brilliant vid to go with it. Enjoy it and let me know!

Love This - Lions for Lambs

How many outlook does a stand has? A policy the State puts into gamble may affect an optimistic senator, a far-sighted veteran journalist, a realist student, a theoretical professor and a couple of patriotic friends. These are the players and the silent contributor in this game of national interest. I have to admit, as soon as I saw Meryl Streep on the trailer of this movie, I thought to myself 'I gotta catch this one!'. She has been one of the few good actors/actresses whom I admired and never failed to deliver exquisite perfomance, with records from Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events, The Devil Wears Prada and The Hours [she completely blew me away in The Hours]. So I thought, this must be a very good movie and it certainly was. The story revolves around the invasion [aka domination] of US of A in Afghanistan and Iraq , which centers on the new policy made by a probable presidential-candidate senator in haste, only based by the theory and depicts the selfishn

I love this book~!

There are not many books that can enchant you, moved you and make a difference in your life even in a slightest way. Thus, when you found one book that makes you feel all of the above [or one of them is good enough], you feel a certain accomplishment arises inside of you. Exaggerating? Not really. As much as I love books, I always ponder hard in front of a particular book that I have targeted to buy, whether to do so or not...and to disappointment, the answer has always been nearly 100% NO. C'mon, you cant expect a medium income student depending solely to the mercy of his parents to buy a book that costs ridiculously..! But sometimes I do though..with my Anna Karenina and other equally good books. This time around, it started co-incidentally when I was waiting for my boo browsing his selection, I picked up this one book that has everyone talked about. I read about its review everywhere - in The Star, in the forums, everywhere. It was 'For One More Day' by Mitch Albom. As I
