This is My Buddy - HRHF Farra

She's my confidante. She's my biggest critique. She's my reflection and everything that I hate. But, she's the best person ever to defined the word 'FRIEND' and proved that best friends stick through thick and thin.

She's Farra. My Her Royal Highness Fantabulous Farra...and I'm responsible for giving her that title. My bad. Haha..

The best one I've ever had. The most fabulous person with XX chromosome ever to popped up to be my friend.

It's funny coz our friendship started during the first day of lecture in matriculation where I kept on bugging her and her friends by jumping into their conversations whenever her friends tried to find meanings of some particular words in English.

But, hey, I interrupted them for good as I got to know her from there!

And she introduced herself as 'Bob' (short for Spongebob. Earlier, we were discussing about our fondness for that silly sponge). How strange, a Bob for a start...ahaks.

We continued our friendship from there. Dinners in 12th college, movies, shopping (she's my stylist cum consultant) and of course, the tutorial-swapping sessions a.k.a copying tutorials...tests too sometimes. Haha

Well, who didn't do such?

Though time has brought us places apart, whatmore with her in India pursuing her medicine course while I'm still in good ol' UM, we are still best buddies, exchanging everything from best bits to embarrassing stories.

She knows my likes and dislikes. She knows that I hand-wash my clothes wearing A|X cap with my mp3 player earphones plugged to my ears. She knows that my Ralph Lauren jacket was only bought RM60 after 90% discount in Isetan, instead of RM660 which I told people before. She also knows that I hate Mawi while she worships him.

To think about it again, we are couple-alike. Only with different tastes, preferences and, of course, not attached to each other. Weird, but, hey, that's us!

There are lots (read: LOTS) more moments, experiences that we had experienced together worth telling but perhaps in the near future. For time being enough said that she's a good friend - the one you'll be thankful for the rest of your life to find her. A fabulous associate through the ups and downs.

To Farra, Kye loves you! Meowww!

It Has Been a Year

Time flies and it's already a year.

Last year, on Feb 16, 2007 approximately around 11.40am, Britney Jean Spears reached the climax of her turmoil drama when she shaved her head bald.

Everyone thought she was going crazy and the aftermaths were approving..

But, the current situations are looking better with her (sorta) back on track.

Kye loves Britney. The music world needs you.

Selfish Bitches

Yesterday, I went to submit my Public Administration assignment. But good Mr. Abdillah asked me to elaborate the 'rather short' report.

By elaborate, he meant from my 12 pages report to 30 pages. Gasp.

So, I redo it and sent it today. Amen.

En route back, there were this two goody-looking Malay bitches walking in my direction.

Though the pathway was narrow, they didn't make any attempt to budge a bit to make room for me. Instead they continued to walk side by side, like I wasn't even there.

I on the other hand have to balance myself from being thrown into the longkang.

How can they have the audacity to be that stupid? And selfish?

Listen bitches. Lesson #1: When you're walking on a narrow way with anyone, PLEASE DON'T WALK SIDE BY SIDE! Give some love to people walking in your direction.

Ain't These Cute?

What's a little spare dosh if it's not share?

I decided to splurge some ringgit notes in Parkson Pavilion for some treats to my lovely niece and nephews.

Those Adidas Superstars are for my brother's offsprings while my sis' only child gets a pair of Osh Kosh B'Gosh.

Nothing makes me glad like giving presents!

My 2008 Valentine

This has been nothing short of a wonderful year so far. 2008 looks promising...and I hope it will continue to be until the end.

Well, before I knew it, Valentine's is here again. A wonderful day to make excuse sending my long-forgotten friends as well as the closest ones messages, telling them how much I loved them.

For real. No kidding.

So, I texted my closest friends and confidantes like Fa, Darryll, Ann Jie, Jin, Zaf and of course the top 3: Aen, Hani and my dearest Farra ( I love you guys).

Thanks for being such a great company guys. I love you to pieces and till the end of time.

I got a Calvin Klein Jeans tshirt from my boo. And it's black.

Who wears black on Valentine's? Well, the thought that matters anyway.

He brought me to Pavilion and we had our dinner in Madam Kwan, my favourite eatery. And, believe it or not, as I tried to cut the sliced cucumber with my spoon, apparently it didn't co-operate and...

...and it flew right out of my plate, and out of my table, to land on the floor behind me.

God. That was embarrassing. And funny at the same time. A-W-K-W-A-R-D.

My boo and I exchanged empty look and continued our meal.

Good. 'Coz inside of my head, I was going "Don't say anything..Don't say anything.."

Anyway, actually he was going to get me Estee Lauder's Pleasures for Men (one of my favourite scents) but I refused. C'mon, I already have like a dozen different scents in my closet. From Dunhill to Paris Hilton to name it.

Perhaps it'll be some time til I'll ask him for a new one.

My pet bro, Ayi went too far this time..spending nearly a thousand bucks (my own assumption) on my present. Gasp!

He got me an Energie tshirt and *ehem* my favourite scent which I never able afford to buy since I first knew it 6 years ago - Annick Goutal's Eau d'Hadrien.

Speechless. But a lot of thanks, of course. Hehe.. He's my closest buddy right now. Bad days, unsatisfied comments, place to ask for opinions - that's him. Thanks for being a good bro!

Most importantly, they all give me the same thing - love. Lots of it. And I still feel it, not only today, but everyday. True friendship gives true love.

Here's to 2008 Valentine's Day.

Make love, not war. Cheers

It's Britney, Bitch..

I don't even know where to start. Sigh..

I wasn't a fan of Britney at all..never. I loved some of her songs but that's just about it. To adore her, buy her CDs, collect her pin-ups - no, I never did those. She was just another singer that always came out with great new tunes which continuously pleased the global crowd.

And there's where the trouble begun. Too much fame. Everyone become obsessed with Britney. Especially those Americans, notoriously known for their celeb-obsession.

When the Chris Crocker vid hit YouTube and became the talk of the time ["Leave Britney alone!!!!!], I wasn't feeling it yet. I wasn't even realized how dangerous this whole situation is.

*The Chris Crocker video is even featured in 'Meet the Spartans'. Haha..

But, as time goes by, I've starting to realized how dreadful this situation can be. How fragile Britney is right now. How she really needs help and people should just leave her alone.

Britney is sick. And we read about it everyday on the net.

She is desperate for some peace, some good friends and someone to love her. In recent drama, she was talking to herself outside an elementary school about 'wanting to pick up her children'. She later said to the person who inquired and guide her to the exit 'You are so kind. Maybe you should give me your number. I don't really have many friends'.

This breaks my heart. You've seen it. Money can't buy life.

She tried killing herself before, when she locked herself up in the bathroom with her child which ended her being wheeled to the ambulance for the first time. In the suicide note, she continuously mentioned about 'wanting to find peace and perhaps death is the best way'.

Rosie O'Donell likened Britney to Princess Diana where both were the obsession of their time and resulted in death of the latter - in the attempt to find peace and space of her own. Pray the same won't occur for Britney.

She has lots to give and way huge potential to color the music industry. Her latest album 'Blackout' is, I daresay, the best album she has ever come out with and easily one of the best albums so far for me.

We've seen famous people died over this short period of time. First was the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, then the untimely death of Heath Ladger, next was Suharto. Is it a trend or what?

A professor in astrology and card reading in Latin America is famous for giving his yearly predictions since 2 decades ago. For 2008, he predicted 2 major things:

1. Hillary Clinton will win US Presidential election.

2. Britney Spears will commit suicide.

By the current affair, it's only a matter of time before it happens. But, 100% of me doesn't want that to happen.

Save Britney. Amen.
